CHRISTIAN BROTHERS COLLEGE
Christian Brothers College: Staff and Students Services Building
What we did
While at EIW Architects, I worked with key stakeholders to design an innovative three story brick and glass building to centralize the students support services and provide a place where staff would meet regularly.
Outcomes
The outcome is an innovative building solution that integrates the CBC learning community with the Fremantle community. Additionally, this building has become a landmark on the campus where students can comfortably meet with staff for guidance and offers a central place where staff can meet informally, formally, and creatively.
Location
Fremantle, Western Australia
Dates
Planning began in November 2011 and construction was completed April 2014.
The intent of the design was to preserve the original college administration building as a sacred space, while providing staff and students with a state of art facility.
